Jace

Jace is a 55-pound, sweet bulldog mix with handsome white and brown markings. He absolutely adores snuggling, belly rubs, and head scratches. Jace is a smart and motivated learner, already mastering "sit," "down," and "leave it," and he's eager to learn more, especially when treats are involved! His favorite pastimes include playing fetch (though he might not always return the ball!), tug-of-war, and enjoying a Kong toy filled with goodies. Jace is a true goober who loves to follow his people around and just be close, sometimes forgetting his size and trying to claim a spot on your lap. He's a loyal companion who thrives on human connection.

Ideal Home

Jace would do best in a home where he can be your constant shadow and cuddle buddy. He has a history of food guarding, so he'll need a home that understands and can manage this, especially around cats.

Ongoing Health

Jace's face has an area that will never fill in due to an old injury, but this doesn't affect his loving nature. He has completed heartworm treatment and is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Jace is potty and crate trained and walks well on a leash. While he is not good with dogs, this appears to stem from fear due to past neglect rather than aggression. He also exhibits food guarding behavior, especially around cats, which will require management.
