A little about them
Melody is a playful, affectionate, smart, and loyal 3-year-old Chocolate Lab mix who loves people, toys, couch cuddles, and learning. She is potty trained, leash trained, and knows some commands.
Melody would thrive with an active family able to provide daily exercise, mental stimulation, patience, structure, and affection. A securely fenced backyard would be ideal. She does wonderfully with people and older children, but she must be the only pet, with no cats or other dogs. She can be nervous around other animals and is strong and enthusiastic during play.
Ideal Home
- A home with older children
- A securely fenced backyard
- An only-pet household with no cats or other dogs
- A family prepared to provide daily exercise, mental stimulation, patience, and continued training
Ongoing Health
Melody’s adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. Dogs are also kept current on age-appropriate vaccines and flea and heartworm prevention prior to adoption.
Training & Support
Melody is potty trained, leash trained, and knows some commands. She is still learning that her crate is safe and comfortable and may become anxious when crated, so she needs patient support with her separation anxiety.
