Gustav is a 3½-year-old terrier/Lab mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for fun. He’s very dog-friendly and thrives in playgroups, where he loves to romp around with his canine pals. His favorite game is pretending to play fetch—he’s all about the chase, even if the “bringing the ball back” part still hasn’t clicked. Gustav is a goofy, chunky boy who adores snacks (maybe a little too much). Interactive toys are his jam… at least until he gets too hangry—then all brain power disappears, and he’ll let you know with dramatic whining and cries of disapproval. Gustav is a little hero who has been blessed to get a second chance in life and is excited to start its next journey with you!
Ideal Home
Gustav thrives in playgroups with other dogs and enjoys interactive toys. He can become hangry, so owners should be understanding of his dramatic reactions when food-motivated.
Ongoing Health
Gustav has had all necessary vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, along with being spayed/neutered, receiving flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
Training & Support
Gustav loves to play fetch but hasn't quite mastered bringing the ball back. He is motivated by snacks, and his brain power can disappear when he's hungry, leading to dramatic whining. Owners should be prepared for continued training efforts as he is a rescue dog.

Transportation
Gustav is currently in Angleton, TX. He is available for transportation to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH to predetermined locations and times. Adoption and transportation fees range from $100-500. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request with financial responsibility on the adopted family. For those being picked up at our Angleton, TX location, there is a $75 fee that includes all vetting.
