Max

Max is a sweet 9-year-old gentle giant who found himself looking for a home after being found as a stray. He waited patiently for two months at the shelter before finding a family. Sadly, his owner is experiencing a medical situation, and caring for Max has become too difficult. Despite his size at 81lbs, Max has a heart of gold and is great with kids and other dogs. His best buddy is a tiny 8lb canine companion!

Ideal Home

Max would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore and run. While he walks well on a leash, he has a tendency to bolt if not enclosed, so a fenced yard is essential for his safety and happiness.

Max is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Max's main challenge is his tendency to run off if not in an enclosed area. A fenced yard is the ideal solution for this. His previous owner recommends that adults walk him due to his size.
