Meet Ridge! This sweet, gentle, and adorable gray-and-white Pit Bull puppy is ready for a fresh start with a heart as big as his puppy-dog eyes. Ridge and his brother, Ryker, were abandoned and brought to a veterinary clinic as strays, but Ridge hasn't let his difficult beginning dim his sweet spirit. He's learning all about the joys of being a puppy, discovering that toys, treats, cozy beds, and kind people are wonderful. Every day he grows a little more confident, realizing the world can be a safe and loving place. Ridge has a gentle, affectionate nature and loves being close to people. Whether he's playing in the yard, exploring something new, or curling up for a cuddle, he's happiest when he's sharing those moments with someone who loves him. Now all Ridge needs is a forever family to show him that he'll never be abandoned again. In return, he'll reward you with a lifetime of loyalty, love, and plenty of puppy kisses.

Ongoing Health
Ridge will typically travel with two rounds of vaccines, and sometimes three. Puppies under 6 months of age are not spayed or neutered. Spaying or neutering is a required condition of adoption and must be completed by the puppy's first birthday or by your veterinarian's recommendation, at the adopter's expense. Out-of-state surgery costs are not included in the adoption fee.
Training & Support
As Ridge is a puppy, he is still learning about the world. Continued positive reinforcement and socialization will help him thrive.

Transportation
Ridge is currently located in Texas. His adoption fee includes transport to pickup locations in Missouri, Illinois, and Wisconsin. The next transport is scheduled for July 17/18th, with pickup stops including Herculaneum, MO; Collinsville, IL; Springfield, IL; Bloomington/Normal, IL; Oglesby, IL; Roscoe, IL; Sun Prairie, WI; and Fond du Lac, WI. Specific meeting points may apply for adopters from the Green Bay, Davenport, and Milwaukee areas.
