Lucious

Lucious is a sweet boy who was found abandoned with only his bed and a bag of food. He bravely approached people, hoping for help, and that's how he came into our care. Despite his difficult start, Lucious is a loving and friendly dog who enjoys playing with toys and is eager to please. He gets along well with other dogs, but he is not a good match for homes with cats.

Ideal Home

Lucious needs a quiet foster home to help him recover. He requires a calm environment where he can rest and heal. Homes with cats are not suitable for Lucious.

Ongoing Health

Lucious is severely heartworm positive and has an enlarged heart. He is currently unable to be neutered as his heartworm treatment must come first. He needs to remain calm and rest while he undergoes treatment. The rescue will cover all medical expenses, food, and toys.

Training & Support

Lucious is generally well-behaved and enjoys playing with toys. He is good with other dogs and seems to find comfort in them. He would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and a loving environment.
