Meet Jax, a sweet and loveable 10 1/2-year-old senior Basset Hound who recently came to BRAT when his owner relocated. Jax has enjoyed being with the other dogs in his foster home, loves meeting new people, rides well in the car, and is crate and house trained. He is a smart little guy who learned to use the doggie door after being shown just one time! Snuggling on the couch with his head in your lap is his favorite pastime. This love bug is ready to find his forever home.

Ideal Home

Jax enjoys the company of other dogs and is friendly with new people. He is a lower-energy senior who loves to snuggle.

Ongoing Health

Jax will be having a fatty tumor removed from his back soon.

Training & Support

Jax is crate and house trained and learned to use a doggie door after only one demonstration. He is a smart and adaptable boy!
