Critter is 45 pounds of pure original — a five-year-old, blue-coated, slightly fluffy pittie mix who somehow nails being hilarious, low-key, and ridiculously lovable all at once. He’s the kind of dog who can turn a boring afternoon into the best part of your week... and then fall asleep halfway through it, preferably in your lap. He’s playful when you need a buddy to kick around the yard with — big fan of water, bad at staying dry — but truth be told, Critter’s real specialty is being a world-class napper. You can talk him into a good game of chase, but once the excitement dies down, he’ll be nudging his way into your personal space and plotting his next couch takeover. Critter is dog-friendly (and even funnier when he’s showing off for other dogs), affectionate with his people, crate trained, leash trained, and just about as easy to live with as they come. He’s the type who doesn’t need constant entertainment — just a good splash now and then, a little play, and a lot of lounging. You won’t find another dog like Critter. He’s one of those once-in-a-lifetime types: funny without trying, loving without being needy, and mellow enough that you’ll forget what life was like before you had a 45-pound sidekick hogging your couch... and your heart.

Training & Support
Critter is crate trained and leash trained. As with all rescue pups, Critter is a work in progress and may benefit from continued training and socialization to help him bloom into the best version of himself.

Critter is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue. We have transports departing each week.
