Rowdy

Rowdy is an irresistibly sweet (and fluffy) pup with a heart just as soft as his coat. Born around March 1st, his mom was a Golden Retriever mix and his dad a Great Pyrenees mix, giving him the perfect blend of bravery, affection, and a playful spirit. He's already working hard on crate training and potty training and making great progress! Rowdy is the adventurous sibling—brave, curious, and always ready to be on the go. His favorite thing in the world is playing, whether it’s with a human or another dog. He does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and loves making new friends. When playtime winds down, he’s more than happy to curl up for cuddles. With his confident nature and loving personality, Rowdy is excited to find a family of his own. He will likely be over 50lbs.

Ideal Home

We are looking for active families who are home often and can provide a structured, physically and mentally stimulating environment for Rowdy so he can grow up to be the best adult fur friend ever. Kids 6 and older in adoptive families are preferred. We are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs.

Ongoing Health

The adoption fee of $600 includes spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm, and any other necessary medical treatment to ensure a healthy new pup for your family.

Training & Support

Rowdy is already working hard on crate training and potty training and making great progress.
