Meet Sally!
Sally is a sweet and energetic year-old Pit mix who is still dreaming of her forever family. She's been with us for over a year, but we know her perfect home is out there somewhere! Sally loves to play fetch in a fenced yard, enjoys trips to the beach with her lifejacket, and even embraces the snow! She's a true four-seasons gal who also loves walks and car rides. When it's time to relax, Sally adores cuddling, especially with a soft, plush blanket. She's even happy to take a shower when needed and will willingly hop in for a bath! Sally is fully potty trained and crate trained, happily resting in her crate when you're away. She enjoys sleeping on the bed at night, with the door left open.
Ideal Home
Sally would thrive in a home where a family is present more often than not. She would be best as the only dog in the home, though a calm and obedient dog of a similar size might be a good fit in the right environment. Sally does not like cats. Children 8 and older are recommended due to her size and energy. A securely fenced yard is a non-negotiable requirement for Sally's safety and happiness.

Sally is up to date on all her vaccinations and is spayed.
Training & Support
Sally is a food-motivated and quick learner, already knowing commands like sit, stay, lay down, dance, shake/paw, and is working on turn and back. She is a great watchdog and will alert you to unfamiliar sounds or visitors. However, Sally's new family will need patience and a willingness to continue working on her leash and barrier reactivity. She's simply eager to greet everyone and explore, but needs guidance on how to do so appropriately when feeling restrained.

Sally is currently located in our rescue. Transportation within a reasonable distance can be arranged for approved adopters.
