Rosa is a 4-year-old, 12-pound terrier mix with a signature mohawk! She's the sweetest girl who loves to be by your side but is also content with her independence. Rosa is house-trained, leash-trained, and enjoys cuddling, going for walks, and rolling in the grass. She's happy with either an adventurous life or a calm and peaceful one. She's had some scary experiences in her past, but with a little time and patience, she's already showing how happy she is to be touched and held. She'll need a bit of extra care and time to warm up to men, but she's a quick learner and will surely blossom in the right home.
Ideal Home
Rosa would do best in a calm, adult-only home where someone is present more often than not. She gets along well with other small, easygoing dogs and has shown no issues with cats. She needs an owned home with a securely fenced yard. She is not suited for a home where smoking of any kind occurs.
Ongoing Health
Rosa is spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, and micro-chipped.
Training & Support
Rosa is already house and leash trained. She will need a rescue-dog-savvy adopter who can provide a gentle introduction, especially to men, and give her extra time to warm up. She is fine to travel in a crate, but we seek a crate-free home for her.
