Moxie

Meet Moxie! I'm a 2 1/2-year-old female border collie mix with a heart of gold and a sharp mind. My journey brought me here after my puppies were adopted, and now it's my turn to find a loving forever home. I'm incredibly smart and even manage my own weight, going on a diet as soon as I notice a few extra pounds! I'm inquisitive, playful, and always happy to be by your side.

Ideal Home

I do well with senior dogs of both sexes and especially enjoy the company of young, confident female dogs. My absolute favorite activities include cuddling on the couch, receiving belly rubs, and exploring the yard with my nose. I need a fenced-in yard to safely enjoy my bursts of energy.

Ongoing Health

I am currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which is included in my adoption fee at no additional cost.

Training & Support

I do pull on the leash a bit, and we haven't had the chance to work on that yet. I absolutely love my crate, which is a great comfort to me during my treatment.
