Cosmo

Cosmo is an absolute goofball and also such a big mush, who is down for anything and everything as long as he's with his humans. Like to take long walks? He's in! Like to run? He's in! Like to chill out, snuggle, and watch a movie? This guy is a wonderful companion and he'll gladly take as many belly rubs as you're happy to give. Cosmo has already completed a 5-week obedience training class and loves to show off his new moves, especially when there is a yummy treat involved. While Cosmo has yet to meet someone he doesn't like, he is a bit of an attention hog and would prefer to keep the love all to himself. He's a bit under 3 years old and a bit under 50 lbs, and fully vetted.

Ideal Home

Cosmo will do best in a home where he can be the only dog, in a family with older children and humans who can give him all the love, patience, and attention he truly deserves.

Training & Support

Cosmo has completed a 5-week obedience training class. Housetraining with rescues is sometimes a work in progress and even if a dog is 100% in a foster's home, it should be expected there will be an adjustment period as a dog adapts to a new environment. We also highly recommend some form of 2-week shutdown and decompression for dogs going to a new home for best results. Our rescue provides lifetime support.

Transportation

Cosmo is located in Rochester, NY. Our adoption area is within a several-hour radius of Rochester, NY, and Canada within 3 hours is allowed.
