About Blink

Meet Blink, a delightful 1-year-old Lab mix who weighs around 40lbs. He's a bundle of playful energy and sweet sensitivity, still learning the ropes as he matures into a wonderful companion. Blink is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and current on all preventatives. He's a clever pup who reads other dogs' cues well and enjoys their company, though he might offer an excited bark before inviting them to play. He's also friendly and indifferent towards cats, and has done well with children when out of his crate, though he hasn't had extensive playtime with them yet. Blink is a big winner as he's fully housebroken and has shown no signs of resource guarding or food aggression. When left alone, he's happy to nap or entertain himself with toys. He's crate trained and can be left unsupervised, though it's a good idea to tuck away tempting items like shoes, as he's been known to "borrow" them!

Ideal Home

Blink would thrive in a home with another friendly, confident dog to help him learn and grow. He needs a patient and understanding adopter who can offer gentle guidance as he navigates his fear-based anxiety and celebrates his progress.

Ongoing Health

Blink is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and current on all preventatives.

Training & Support

Walks can be a new and sometimes scary experience for Blink, and he needs plenty of reassurance. He startles easily and may hide if unsure, so it's best to let him approach people on his own terms. Stairs are also a work in progress for him. With kindness and consistency, he is sure to blossom.
