Tank

Tank is a handsome 3-year-old pittie mix who weighs about 65 lbs. He found himself at Animal Control with his sister, Dixie, when their owner lost their home. Thankfully, the officers knew just who to call for help with pittie breeds! After a few baths, a vet visit, and lots of love, Tank was ready to make new friends. He has already stolen the hearts of our staff and visitors alike! Tank is a bit unsure of other dogs as he's still working on opening his heart to canine friends, but he is making progress. He absolutely loves playing, snuggling, treats, and getting attention!

Ideal Home

Tank must be adopted with his sister, Dixie, as they cannot be separated. He would thrive in a home with a large, fenced-in area where he can run and play. A patient owner who will take the time to earn his trust will be rewarded with all the love he has to give.

Ongoing Health

Tank is fully vetted, up to date on vaccines, and receives monthly Simparica Trio. He currently eats Purina ProPlan.

Training & Support

Tank is still learning to warm up to other dogs and would benefit from a patient owner who can help him gain confidence.
