Skipper

Meet Skipper! This sporty and energetic girl is looking for a special someone to share her love of fetch and cuddles. Skipper has been with us for a couple of years, after coming to us with trauma to her front leg. She has since had an amputation and healed beautifully, allowing her wonderful personality to shine through.

Skipper is a darling black and white tripod who absolutely adores a game of fetch. She's the perfect companion for an active person or family, especially if you enjoy baseball or softball! Once she's tired from playing, Skipper is a big softie who loves to snuggle up close to her people.

Ideal Home

Skipper would do best as the only pet in the home, as she is not good with other dogs or cats. She may take a little time to warm up to new people due to past experiences, but some treats and a game of fetch will surely win her over!

Ongoing Health

Skipper's leg has healed completely after her amputation. Her adoption fee has been sponsored and covers spay/neuter, microchip, and current vaccines.

Training & Support

Skipper is learning basic commands and responds well to treats. She is still working on leash manners but excels with a head halter. Redirecting her with treats can help with pulling.
