Meet Shyanne, a 13-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel weighing 10 lbs. This tiny, sweet-natured girl is looking for a soft place to land after her world was turned upside down. At 13 years old, this gentle girl is losing the only home she's known because her beloved owner is moving into a nursing home and can no longer care for her. We are hoping to find Shyanne a foster or forever home without having to bring her into the shelter. Between her age, the loss of her family, and her medical needs, a shelter environment would be incredibly stressful for this little lady. Shyanne enjoys spending time with people, gets along well with other dogs, and still has adorable little bursts of playful energy. She's a smart girl who loves companionship and is happiest when she's near her people. Shyanne is looking for a compassionate person willing to give a senior dog the comfort, stability, and love she deserves. In return, she'll offer endless sweetness, quiet companionship, and a grateful heart. Could you be the soft landing this special little girl needs?

Ideal Home

Shyanne would do best in a home where someone is around often, as she is not kennel trained. She needs frequent potty breaks every few hours.

Ongoing Health

Shyanne is diabetic and receives insulin twice daily. Her diabetes is currently well controlled, and her care routine is straightforward.

Shyanne is housetrained, but requires frequent potty breaks.
