Meet Veda, a perfectly playful puppy whose entire approach to life is basically: "Wait... we can PLAY in that too?!" Mud puddle? Amazing. New dog friend? Incredible. Couch cuddles afterward? Best day ever. This girl is pure sunshine wrapped in velvet fur and giant mismatched ears. One ear stands straight up like she's trying to contact aliens, while the other just flops dramatically to the side, giving her a uniquely charming, cartoon-like appearance. Veda makes everything feel exciting; she doesn't just walk through life, she launches herself into it with joy, especially if there's water involved! During her assessment, she discovered a flooded muddy yard and decided it was the greatest place on earth, happily splashing and rolling around, turning herself into a muddy pup with pride.
Ideal Home
Veda would absolutely LOVE an adventurous home that enjoys hiking trails, beach days, camping trips, lake weekends, backyard sprinkler time, and long walks exploring new places. She wants to experience life with her people. She would also thrive in an apartment with an active family as she loves outings, but truly shines where she gets to explore and play. Bonus points if there's water nearby! While she was sweet and excited during a brief encounter with a child, her playful puppy energy means older or dog-savvy kids are recommended while she continues learning manners.
Ongoing Health
Veda is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also received a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Veda is very treat-motivated, which will make training and continued growth a rewarding experience. She is learning manners and her future family can receive a free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus discounted sessions thereafter.

Veda is in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
