Raymond

Raymond came to us underweight and with his skin in poor condition. An old injury left this boy with a split lower lip. It’s possible he had not been well cared for or treated kindly in some time. After weeks of good food, therapeutic baths, and lots of love, Raymond is feeling and looking better every day! His demeanor is timid, but brave. As he learns to trust people again, he is leaving his kennel for walks without hesitation. This kind of transformation is amazing to witness!

Raymond is looking for a soft landing where he can continue to heal and be treated with the gentleness he deserves. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and ready to begin the next and best chapter of his life!

Volunteer Perspective: Raymond is calm, sweet, and just a little bit shy. I got to sit with him in the yard and he stayed right next to me the whole time while I patted him! He walks so well on a leash, too. He is building his confidence and with the right family, I know he will thrive. He is such a great boy looking for a chance to be loved forever!
