Skipper

Skipper is a sporty and energetic girl who would love to find a home to match her zest for life! She's been with us for over two years, and during that time, she's shown us just how much of a resilient and loving companion she can be. Skipper is a tripod, having had her front leg amputated due to past trauma. She's fully healed and has blossomed into a delightful dog with a personality all her own.

Skipper's favorite game is fetch, and she's always ready to play! If you're a baseball or softball fan, you'll love Skipper's enthusiasm for chasing balls. After a good play session, she loves to snuggle up close to her people and relax.

Ideal Home

Skipper would do best as the only pet in the home, as she is not good with other dogs or cats. She may need a little time to warm up to new people, but some treats and a ball will surely win her over!

Ongoing Health

Skipper has fully healed from her leg amputation.

Training & Support

Skipper is learning basic commands like sit, down, and leave it. She is still working on leash training, but she responds well to commands and redirection with treats when using a head halter.
