Akira

Meet Akira! This sweet girl is a 5.5-year-old spayed female Staffordshire mix who weighs about 60lbs. Akira was rescued from a euthanasia list with just minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever home for nearly nine months. We can't understand why, as she's truly a gem!

Akira is fully crate-trained and knows her basic commands. She has the most endearing puppy-dog eyes and longs for a person to snuggle with on the couch. She's a big love bug who thinks she's a tiny lap dog! You'll often find her napping on a comfy dog bed until it's time for a walk. Akira is a good listener, follows commands well, and takes treats ever so gently. To keep herself entertained, she enjoys chewing on bones or tossing her stuffed toys from her bed and then pouncing down to retrieve them.

Ideal Home

Akira adores people and enjoys the company of calm, submissive dogs. However, she would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in her home, as her ultimate dream is to be your one and only.

Akira is already crate-trained and knows her basic commands. She is a good listener and is gentle when taking treats.
