Hunney is a 4-year-old, 60-pound mixed-breed sweetheart with a heart as golden as her name. Like a drop of honey, she's warm, comforting, and impossible not to adore--especially when she melts right into you for a cuddle. She is housetrained, gentle, and happy to play fetch or enjoy a neighborhood walk. Hunney has a moderate energy level; she enjoys a daily walk or two and some yard or toy time. She's incredibly smart and highly food-motivated. Outside, Hunney enjoys playing catch, zoomies, and basking in the sunshine, but her favorite place is wherever her people are. She is exceptionally snuggly, leaning into you, draping across your lap, or tucking her head under your arm. Her favorite place to be is under the covers, wrapped in a cozy blanket. Hunney can feel unsure around unfamiliar dogs, so she'll need patient, slow introductions and may be happiest as your one-and-only canine companion. She was born with Carpal Valgus, an outward turn of one paw. It's purely cosmetic and causes her no pain.
Ideal Home
Hunney would do best in a calm and low-traffic home with a steady routine and loving humans who appreciate a laid-back, loving companion. She may be happiest as the only canine companion due to feeling unsure around unfamiliar dogs. She is probably not a good fit for a home with cats due to her high prey drive. She can do well with older, dog-savvy children.
