Meet Ollie.
One look into his soft eyes and you can feel it immediately — this beautiful Australian Shepherd is not just handsome… he is gentle clear down to his soul.
At only a year and a half old and 46 pounds, Ollie already carries himself with a quiet kindness that is rare to find. While many Aussies are known for nonstop energy, Ollie is calm, steady, and happiest simply being near his people. He walks beautifully on a leash, loves dogs of all sizes and ages, and has already lived peacefully with a small child.
He is the kind of dog who would gladly follow you from room to room just to make sure you are not alone.
Ollie was surrendered not because he did anything wrong, but because life became too busy for the family who loved him. And honestly, that is what makes this harder. Because somewhere along the way, this sweet boy lost the home he thought was forever.
Still, Ollie wakes up every day hopeful.
Hopeful someone will scratch behind his ears.
Hopeful someone will smile when they see him.
Hopeful someone out there still has room in their life for a good dog with a tender heart.
He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for a fresh start. Cats are still an unknown, but people and dogs? Ollie loves them all.
There is something incredibly special about dogs like Ollie.
They do not demand the spotlight. They do not ask for much.
They just quietly love with everything they have.
And somewhere out there is a family that has no idea yet that their missing piece has been patiently waiting for them this whole time.

Ollie is neutered, microchipped & vaccinated and would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family.
Our Rescue is Houston based (https://www.facebook.com/TwilightTailsRescue) and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston.
