Josie

Josie is a 5-month-old, 19 lb female Retriever mix with one brown eye and one ice blue eye! She's a sweet and lively pup who was rescued with her siblings and is now enjoying learning how to be a playful dog. Josie can be a bit of a bed hog, but she also makes a warm snuggle buddy. She's crate trained but prefers the couch or bed. Josie loves toys and sunbathing, and she's practicing her leash manners. Exploring can be a bit intimidating for her, so patience is appreciated. She's doing well with potty training on potty pads and would do well with gentle children or doggy playmates. Josie can be timid at times, but she's also very sweet and cuddly.

Ideal Home

A home where she can continue to practice her leash manners and receive patient guidance as she explores her new surroundings.

Ongoing Health

All core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, and microchip are included in the adoption fee.

Training & Support

Josie is working on potty training, doing well with potty pads. She's also learning leash manners and may need continued patience as she gets used to new experiences.
