Meatball is exactly what you hope he'll be: comforting, lovable, a little round, and impossible to resist. This 6-year-old Puggle weighs in at 48 pounds of pure sweetness and has perfected the art of making every person he meets feel like an old friend. He arrived with his foodie friends Mozzarella and Prosciutto, completing what may be the most emotionally supportive charcuterie board of all time. Meatball, however, is less interested in fine dining aesthetics and more interested in two very important things: snacks and snuggles.
This guy is social in the easiest, most genuine way. He's not trying to impress anyone—he simply exists as a lovable, happy little meatball and somehow wins everyone over immediately. There's a softness to him, both physically and emotionally, that makes people want to sit down next to him and stay awhile. And yes, he does love snacks. Passionately. Deeply. Some dogs are motivated by toys or adventure; Meatball believes treats are a meaningful love language. Honestly, he may be onto something.
But don't let the snack enthusiasm fool you—Meatball is also incredibly affectionate and gentle. He's the kind of dog who settles into cuddle sessions like it's his life's calling, leaning into you with complete trust and the occasional content little sigh. He's calm, comforting, and has the emotional energy of a weighted blanket with ears. If there's any challenge here, it's simply that Meatball makes it very difficult to get anything productive done once he's curled up beside you. Suddenly your entire schedule revolves around not disturbing the dog, and frankly, that feels reasonable.
Ideal Home
Meatball would thrive in a home where he can share his love for snacks and snuggles. He makes it hard to get anything done once he's curled up next to you, so be prepared for your schedule to revolve around him!
Ongoing Health
Meatball is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He tested negative on his 4DX for heartworm and tick-borne disease.
Training & Support
Meatball's main "challenge" is that he's so comforting and cuddly, he can make it hard to be productive. He thrives on treats as a love language!
