Nick

Meet Nick, a playful male Vizsla Weimaraner mix puppy! His mom, Kelly, is a friendly Vizsla mix who was rescued locally and gets along well with both people and other dogs. Nick is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and he's ready to find his forever family. He's going to grow into a medium to large-sized dog who will need plenty of daily exercise.

Ideal Home

Nick would thrive in a home with experienced dog owners who understand the needs of energetic breeds. A home with another dog or two would be fantastic, especially if he'll be home alone during the day. Since Vizslas and Weimaraners are active hunting dogs, particularly as youngsters, older children who are experienced with high-energy dogs would be the best fit. Due to his hunting breed background, it's recommended that Nick be leashed or otherwise confined around small dogs, cats, or other small animals.

Nick is up-to-date on his vaccinations and has been neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

Nick comes from hunting breeds, so early socialization and consistent training will be key. It's recommended to keep him leashed or confined around smaller animals.
