Rufus

Rufus is a 2-year-old brindle Cane Corso who was once a stray surviving alone in a canyon. He was rescued by some very determined humans after a two-week effort. When he first arrived, he was scared, shut down, and unfamiliar with basic things like cars, crates, or even how to interact with other dogs. However, with patience, training, and a lot of love, Rufus has transformed into a well-mannered dog who excels in obedience and is crate-trained. He is healthy, handsome, and ready to find his forever home.

Ideal Home

Rufus would thrive in a calm, confident household and would do best with an experienced owner familiar with guardian breeds. He prefers not to live with small dogs or young children.

Ongoing Health

Rufus is healthy and has been spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Rufus has overcome his initial challenges and is now crate-trained and knows basic obedience commands. He has shown he can interact with other dogs.
