Hi, I'm Cosmo! I'm a sweet, almost 10-year-old gentleman who is looking for a forever home after losing my long-time owner. I've been enjoying life in foster care since May 31st, 2025, and have learned that I thrive on routine and schedules. My foster parents say I'm a champion cuddler and would love to sleep in bed with you if given the chance! I'm working on my fitness with daily walks and a healthy diet, but I do have a strong prey drive and would likely chase squirrels and cats if not on a leash. I can be a bit of a food begger and might whinewhen I want a treat, but my adorable charm makes it hard to resist! I'm a great passenger on car rides, often lounging and sometimes getting the zoomies. I know basic commands like sit, speak, lay, and paw. Lounging on the couch with my people and snuggling under a cozy blanket are some of my favorite activities. While I can get along with other dogs, I tend to be a bit of a boss and protective, so I'd prefer to be the only canine companion to get all the spoiling!

Ideal Home

A home that embraces routine and provides lots of opportunities for cuddling will be perfect for me. While I can get along with other dogs, I prefer to be the king of my castle and would do best as the only dog in the household.

Ongoing Health

I am currently working on a weight loss plan to help me become extra strong and healthy.

Training & Support

I know basic commands and enjoy car rides. I can be a bit of a food begger and whiny when I want treats, so consistency in not giving in will be key!
