Janie

Janie is a beautiful Rottweiler/Doberman mix, about a year old, who is still searching for the loving forever home she truly deserves. She's been through more than any young dog should have to endure, but her spirit remains bright and full of love. Janie is sweet, goofy, playful, and so full of life. Once she feels comfortable and safe, her wonderful personality truly begins to shine. She is good with other dogs and cats and thrives in a home environment. Janie is already crate trained and house-trained with regular potty breaks. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, she warms up quickly.

Ideal Home

Janie has a high energy level and is not content with a sedentary lifestyle. She needs an active home that will provide both mental and physical stimulation. She would absolutely thrive with an adopter who is willing to walk, run, play fetch, and take her on adventures. Continuing her training and helping her learn new things will also be very rewarding for her. Because of her past experiences, Janie is very food-motivated and can be protective of her snacks if given the opportunity. Therefore, we are recommending a home without small children.

Janie is crate trained and house-trained. She can be a bit shy with new people initially but warms up with patience. She is very food-motivated, so continued guidance on appropriate food manners is recommended.
