Alaska State

Alaska is a playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly 8-month-old puppy who weighs around 36 lbs. She enjoys playing with her siblings and taking naps, embodying the classic puppy eat-sleep-play cycle. Alaska is particularly special because she comes from an area with extremely high shelter euthanasia rates for puppies, and adopting her truly saves a life, opening up space for another animal in need. She is eager to find her forever home and will shower her new family with lots of kisses!

Ongoing Health

Alaska is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworms and treated if necessary.

Training & Support

Alaska will require a family committed to intensive training, including immediate crate training upon arrival to aid in potty training and energy management. Proper socialization and setting boundaries from the start are crucial for her development into a well-rounded adult dog.

Transporation

Alaska is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via the rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
