Buttercup

Meet Buttercup! She's a sweet and loving Labrador Retriever mix, possibly with some spaniel in her lineage, born around January 11, 2021. Buttercup adores her people and loves to follow her foster mom around, soaking up all the attention she can get. She's also a social butterfly with other dogs, happily playing with her siblings and the foster's dogs of all sizes. While she's quick to warm up to some, Buttercup can be a little shy with new people and needs a little time to feel comfortable. She has a special bond with her brother, Aster, and they have a blast playing together!

Ideal Home

Buttercup would do well in a home that can give her the time and patience she needs to adjust to new people and environments. A home with another dog might be a great fit for her, but it's not a strict requirement. She should not be overwhelmed with too many introductions at once.

Ongoing Health

Buttercup is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She is also on monthly heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative.

Training & Support

Buttercup is crate-trained and food-motivated, which will be a great asset in building her confidence through training. She needs a patient owner who can help her overcome her initial concern with new people.
