Meet Kirby!
Kirby is the kind of dog who wears his heart and his thoughts right on his ears. This affectionate fella has one of the most expressive faces you'll ever meet. His ears tuck back like little airplane wings when he's in superspeed mode zooming around the backyard with his foster brothers, perk straight up when he's taking in something new (like the TV indoors for the first time), and sometimes point in two different directions when he's feeling goofy. He's a walking mood ring, and it's impossible not to smile around him. Kirby has been a dream in the home. He does wonderfully in his crate both overnight and while his foster family is at work, and he's had zero accidents in his crate or loose in the house. He loves choosing his own toys from the toy box, especially anything that crinkles, and he's quickly decided that snuggling up with the resident cats for a nap is one of life's great joys. He adores everyone he meets from the very first hello. He's a quick learner who responds well to a firm no and redirection, and with consistency and time he's shaping up to be one of those once-in-a-lifetime golden boys. Kirby is affectionate, playful, observant, and full of charm. He's ready to bring his expressive ears, big heart, and joyful spirit to a family who will love him right back.
Ideal Home
Kirby loves snuggling up with the resident cats for a nap, so a home that already has feline friends would be wonderful for him!
Ongoing Health
Kirby is fully vetted. He has been neutered, heartworm tested negative, is up to date on vaccinations and on prevention, and is microchipped with lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Kirby is a quick learner who responds well to a firm "no" and redirection. With consistency and time, he's shaping up to be a wonderful companion.
