Koda is truly one of the sweetest dogs you'll meet. He loves his people deeply and wants nothing more than to be in their company. He’s obedient, steady, and happy — the kind of dog who settles at your feet and is simply content being near you. Koda did experience an accident in his past that left him with one ear and a few scars, but they don’t define him. He’s still the same sweet, loyal boy we all fell in love with — and if anything, his resilience just makes him that much more special. If you’re looking for a devoted, well-behaved best friend and can offer a peaceful home, Koda may be your perfect match.

Ideal Home

Koda thrives in a calm, low-traffic home. He is devoted to his circle and does not welcome strangers or a lot of coming and going. He’s perfectly happy hiking trails or walking sidewalks with his people, but he isn’t a dog who wants unfamiliar visitors in his space. He would do best as a one- to two-person companion in a predictable environment where he can bond closely and feel secure. He is not a good fit for homes with children under 8 years old.

Ongoing Health

Koda experienced an accident in his past that left him with one ear and a few scars. These do not affect his health or happiness. He is neutered and vaccinated.
