Meet Dr. Pepper! He's a 3-month-old Terrier/Chihuahua mix puppy weighing about 12.5 pounds. As the biggest puppy in his litter, Dr. Pepper has a huge heart and an adorable belly to prove his love for mealtime! With his striking black-and-white spotted coat, soulful puppy eyes, and a sturdy build, he's simply irresistible. He looks at you with complete trust, melting hearts instantly.

Dr. Pepper is a total lovebug! He can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly and will soon be your constant companion. He adores being cuddled, melts for belly rubs, and is happiest when he's by your side. Like most puppies, he's a fan of toys, especially plushies and chew toys. He loves to proudly carry his favorite treasures around to show off, beaming with pride!

Ongoing Health

Dr. Pepper is up-to-date on all his vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. He is microchipped and will receive a heartworm preventative injection.

Training & Support

Dr. Pepper is currently working on potty training and crate routines in his foster home. He sleeps in a kennel with his siblings and only needs one nighttime potty break before settling back in. He's receiving excellent care and behavioral assessments from trainers on staff.

Transporation

Dr. Pepper is located in Texas, but we facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA-certified transport system. This ensures every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. We have drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track your pet's journey in real-time, receive photo updates, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through a private Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
