Masha is a stunning Alaskan Husky, about 5 years old, weighing around 55 lbs. She is a truly majestic dog with captivating sky-blue eyes and a noble presence that makes her unforgettable. Masha has a calm and affectionate personality, loves people, and is eager to please, learning quickly. She's loyal, brave, social, and affectionate, with a playful, fun, and curious nature. She does well in a crate for up to 12 hours without accidents and walks on a leash, though she can pull a bit when excited. Masha enjoys toys but can be a bit protective of them. When bored without toys, she may chew on household items. Like a true Husky, she loves to howl and bark and has a stubborn streak. Masha can be territorial with other dogs, especially dominant ones, but she's loving and gentle with children. She has been waiting five years for her forever family and deserves a home where she can experience the full, beautiful life she has been waiting for.
Ideal Home
Masha would thrive with a very active family who has experience with dog behavior and training. She would do best in a home with other dogs and children, as she is loving and gentle with kids. Families with an open conscience about the needs of rescued animals, requiring protection and education, and who have high tolerance and patience for rescued dogs, are ideal.
Ongoing Health
Masha is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), deworming, and has received one month of flea, tick, and heartworm preventative. She comes with a health certificate.
Training & Support
Masha is not house-trained and may chew on inappropriate items when bored. She can be territorial with other dogs, sometimes engaging in playful nips or pestering. Potential adopters should understand that rescued dogs may have been traumatized and require an adjustment period, patience, and understanding.

Transportation
Masha is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is available for transport to the East Coast of the USA. A transport fee of $400.00 will be paid by the adopter prior to the pet's departure.
