Artemis

Meet Artemis, a charming 1-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing in at 36 pounds. She's already a star with potty and crate training, giving her a wonderful foundation for her new life. Artemis is a very affectionate girl who adores attention and gets along wonderfully with both kids and other dogs. She's even sharing her foster home with a cat and doing well, though she can be a bit of a chase artist with cats she meets outdoors. This intelligent pup is eager to learn and is currently mastering leash manners. She already knows how to fetch and is working on basic commands, with the potential for agility training if she stays with her foster family long enough, as she thrives on activity and engagement. Artemis is ready to be an amazing companion for a family that can continue her training, keep her active, and shower her with the love and structure she deserves.

Ideal Home

Artemis would thrive with a family ready to continue her training, keep her active, and give her the love and the structure she deserves. She does well with kids and other dogs, and currently lives with a foster cat. However, she will try to chase cats outside of the home.

Ongoing Health

Artemis is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Artemis is potty and crate trained. She is currently working on leash training and basic commands, and has learned to fetch. She is intelligent and eager to learn, and could potentially begin obstacle or agility training.
