Meet Mo!

Mo is a soulful, six-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix with a gentle heart and a beautiful tricolor coat, weighing in at a solid 75 pounds. He still thinks he's a lap dog and loves to snuggle close to his favorite humans. Mo is calm and low-energy indoors, forming deep bonds once he feels safe. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic commands. His favorite activity is simply being near you and receiving affection, making quiet evenings incredibly cozy.

Ideal Home

Mo thrives in a peaceful, calm, and structured environment. He needs a home in a quiet rural or suburban area with a securely fenced yard. He must be the only pet in the home and would do best without cats or frequent visitors. A guardian experienced with anxiety or reactivity in dogs, who uses positive reinforcement and has immense patience, will help Mo build his confidence. A predictable routine and someone who works from home would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Mo has a mild allergy to poultry. He also has mild arthritis in his hind legs, but it doesn't stop him from enjoying a good cuddle. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

Mo can become anxious and reactive in noisy or unpredictable environments, such as busy city streets. He needs consistency, gentle companionship, and a calm environment to help him feel secure.
