Astro (27lb)

This is Astro, a 2-year-old, 25lb Heeler and Chihuahua mix who was found alone in a tough neighborhood in Texas. A kind volunteer brought him into her home, where he's been living with many other dogs and has blossomed into a well-adjusted pup ready for his forever family. Astro is eager to please, house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. He loves to be your number one companion and is highly motivated by food, toys, and treats, making him a joy to train. When he's not on the go, he enjoys quiet cuddles.

Ideal Home

Astro may have a bit of a "little man" complex, fitting for his mix. He might occasionally nip at male dogs when competing for treats or attention, so a home with understanding of this trait would be ideal. He's currently thriving in a foster home with 10 other dogs, showing he can adapt well to multi-pet households.

Training & Support

Astro is already house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. His eagerness to please and high motivation for treats will make continuing his training a rewarding experience.

Transportation

Astro is currently located in Burnsville, MN. Out-of-state adopters are welcome, and private transport can be arranged with K9 Delivery LLC for an additional $200, which includes a health certificate and vet exam.
