Meet Celeste, a brave 1-year-old female Chihuahua weighing in at 8 lbs. She's a true survivor, having come from a difficult past in a hoarding situation, but she's blossoming into a sweet and cuddly companion. Celeste can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she transforms into the ultimate lap dog who adores being close to her people. Her sweet face and adorable little "smile" are sure to bring joy to her forever family every single day.

Ideal Home

Celeste would thrive in a quiet and patient home where she can continue to gain confidence. Because she can be startled by sudden movements and loud noises, a home without small children is recommended. She also finds comfort in the company of other dogs and would do best with at least one canine sibling.

Ongoing Health

Celeste is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Celeste is house-trained. She takes comfort in following other dogs' leads, which has been a great help in her journey to becoming more confident. While she is beginning to explore on her own, having other dogs around continues to be a source of comfort for her.
