Annie is a spirited, almost five-year-old German Shepherd with a beautiful sable coat, weighing around 55 pounds. She's a delightful mix of intelligence, loyalty, and a love for the outdoors. Annie is bright, curious, and embodies the classic German Shepherd spirit, enjoying woodland adventures, chasing butterflies, and reveling in open spaces. She's a wonderfully smart girl who has completed formal obedience training and excels at commands like sit, stay, and down. Annie is also crate trained and sees her crate as a cozy personal retreat. She adapts easily to daily routines and thrives on connection and activity, whether it's a car ride or playtime with her favorite people.
Ideal Home
Annie truly shines outdoors and would be happiest in a home with a securely fenced yard or a rural setting where she can explore to her heart's content. She needs a single-pet, child-free environment with minimal visiting animals. Annie is not compatible with other dogs or cats, as she can become overwhelmed and react in ways that require careful management, including a past incident where she harmed another dog.
Ongoing Health
Annie requires a family prepared to support her special care needs. She has a diagnosed Ventricular Premature Contraction (VPC), a heart condition that makes anesthesia unsafe, which is why she has not been spayed. It's also important to monitor her past seizure history, though she has not had any recent episodes.

Annie has completed formal obedience training and responds well to commands. She would benefit from an experienced German Shepherd pet parent who understands her need for structure, positive reinforcement, and thoughtful guidance.
