Say hello to William! This big, 5-year-old, 85-pound fluffball is a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix who thinks humans are the absolute best! He's perfected the art of leaning in for maximum pets, and if adoration were an Olympic sport, he'd be bringing home the gold. William is a lovely, sweet dog with a strong guardian instinct, even without sheep to watch over.

Ideal Home

William needs to be the only dog in the home, as he prefers all your attention to himself. While he enjoys the dog park, he wants zero competition at home. He has recently decided cats are not okay, so he needs a cat-free household. This isn't a dog for a first-time owner; he'll do best in a home with an experienced owner who understands flock guardian breeds. He needs a home with no children or teens. This is because he loves them so much, and when kids bring friends over, he feels overwhelmed trying to assess potential threats to their safety. He is a guardian to the bone and considers children's actions to be risky, but he can't be the one making those judgment calls. A securely fenced yard is non-negotiable, as he will roam the perimeter he deems his.
