About Caramella a.k.a. Caramel

Hi there! My name is Caramel, but some of my people call me Caramella. I'm a sweet, playful, and cuddly Labrador Retriever mix, estimated to be born around April 8, 2026, and I weighed 11.9lbs on June 3, 2026.

I'll admit, I can be a little shy when I first meet new people or experience new things. But with a little patience, kind words, and gentle scratches, my true personality shines through! Once I know you're my friend, I absolutely love attention – belly rubs, ear scratches, cuddles, and being told how adorable I am are my favorites! I have so much love to give and can't wait to share it with my forever family. Like any puppy, I spend my days having fun. I love carrying toys, wrestling and playing with my brother, investigating interesting things, and then crashing for a well-earned nap. I'm a smart girl, too! I'm doing great with crate training and often head into my crate by myself when it's time to nap or sleep. I'm also learning my potty manners and mostly use my puppy pads like a big girl. More than anything, I'm looking for a family who will help me continue building my confidence and show me all the wonderful things life has to offer. In return, I promise to fill your days with puppy kisses, happy tail wags, and endless love.

Transporation

I am located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may vary in pickup locations, including to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
