Bear Buddy Heart is a handsome 1-year-old, 60 lb pittie mix with a big presence and an even bigger personality! He's confident, people-loving, and greets the world with enthusiasm and curiosity. Bear is eager to learn and responds well to training, especially since he's treat motivated. He shines when it comes to his people skills, seeking connection in a warm and easy way. Bear is fully house and crate trained and enjoys lounging. He's still in his puppy phase and needs continued guidance on leash manners, particularly around other dogs. While he can get a little too enthusiastic during play, he's respectful once he gets to know other dogs. He's shown he can coexist peacefully with feline friends, given slow introductions and a confident cat. Bear is active and engaged without being overly hyper, and will thrive in a home that provides regular exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing training. He is a good dog with a big heart and a sweet personality, just waiting for the chance to learn all the rules and become the best dog he can be.
Ideal Home
Bear would do well with a confident, calm, larger female dog who won't be overwhelmed by his size or playfulness. A dog-savvy, confident cat and slow introductions would be essential for a peaceful feline coexistence. He needs a home that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing training.
Ongoing Health
Bear has no specific health conditions mentioned. He will receive all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and will be microchipped.
Training & Support
Bear is still learning leash manners and needs continued guidance when he sees other dogs. He can get a bit too strong or pushy during play with other dogs, but he is respectful once he gets to know them. Clear, consistent handling will help him settle. He is treat motivated, which makes him responsive and eager to engage in training.
