Herman

Herman is an energetic, silly, poised, and rambunctious Cimarron Uruguayo with an old and wise soul and the spirit of a young buck! He can go from zero to sixty in a heartbeat, from bathing in the sun and rolling in the grass to zooming past in a flash. Displaced from a North Carolina shelter in 2018 due to Hurricane Florence, Herman has always found creative ways to cope and is now ready for a loving home. He enjoys abundant kisses, hugs, and walks, and would be thrilled to curl up at the foot of your bed after some good head scratches and yummy treats.

Ideal Home

Herman would shine in a home where he is the only pet, as he is a rough-and-tumble player. He would be happiest in a home with adults or older teens. Due to Herman's tough playing style, homes with small children wouldn't be the ideal fit.

Ongoing Health

Herman is a nine-year-old with mature sensitive skin, so belly rubs are a must!

Training & Support

Hermie's best days are spent with a strong-willed leader who can be stern and correct him. As an expert explorer, Hermie needs a fenced-in yard where he can patrol and hunt ladybugs, or at least frequent walks and trips to fenced-in areas where he can get his zoomies in!
