Meet Attica, a wonderfully sweet 3-year-old dog who is a delightful mix of chill and active! Attica, affectionately known as Addy, is waiting patiently for her forever family. While she might be a bit shy and timid when you first meet her, with a little patience and nurturing, she blossoms into an incredibly outgoing and fabulously great companion. She's a food and treat motivated girl, making training a breeze, and she absolutely adores car rides and snuggling up with her favorite people. Attica is also an excellent running buddy for those who enjoy an active lifestyle! She has successfully completed basic obedience training and is a well-mannered pup with a curious spirit, making her a joy to have around.
Ideal Home
Attica thrives in a home with other confident, friendly, active, playful, and well-balanced dogs, as this helps her maintain her own balanced mental well-being. She would do best in a home without young children, as they can sometimes make her nervous.
Ongoing Health
Attica is spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate core vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, and Lyme disease tested negative. She has also been dewormed and fecal tested negative. All of her health testing was completed within the last 6-12 months.
Training & Support
Attica is house and crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Her recall off-leash is also excellent. Consistent nurturing with discipline and encouragement will help her tackle new challenges. Training is an ongoing process, and continued positive reinforcement will set her up for continued success.

- No exchange or request for money is required before adoption.

- Former AHRS Adopters: No adoption fee is required; a donation of choice is expected, encouraged, welcome, and appreciated.
- A minimum tax-deductible suggested adoption fee donation of $285 is non-negotiable.
Transporation
Attica is currently being fostered in Kokomo, IN. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at their own expense, but pets are not shipped.
