Sadie is a delightful 3-year-old Terrier/Border Collie mix who is patiently waiting for her forever family. She's been with us since June 2023, but don't let that fool you; Sadie is the definition of a low-maintenance companion. She recently spent two weeks in a foster home where she proved herself to be a true professional: zero accidents, remarkably calm, and perfectly content to mind her own business while you go about your day. Sadie isn't a "velcro" dog who needs constant attention, but she does love to be nearby, keeping a watchful eye on her favorite humans. Her observant and alert nature makes her an excellent guard or alert dog for her family.
Ideal Home
Sadie would thrive in a home that appreciates a calm, chill dog who offers loyalty without needing constant physical affection. She is best with children ages 5 and up who can respect her independent nature. Sadie enjoys the company of other dogs, particularly males, and while she is social, she does like to be the "boss" of the pack at times.
Ongoing Health
Sadie is heartworm positive. She is currently on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. A health certificate, exam, and fecal test will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport.
Training & Support
Sadie is a food-motivated girl, which makes training a breeze! She's already a "Crate Queen," happily settling in for the night without fuss. She's also a leash pro, walking beautifully without pulling.

- West/Mountain: CO (Denver), WY (Laramie), UT (Riverdale)
Please note that transporters follow their own schedules, and adopters must be available at the designated time and location. If for any reason the adoption doesn't work out, Sadie will return to Oklahoma under our protection.
