Sussy is an approximately 3-year-old Labrador mix, weighing around 60 pounds. She was rescued from the streets of Houston, Texas, and is now ready to find her forever home. Sussy is a joyful and loving girl who is always smiling. She's incredibly loyal, polite, and intelligent, forming strong bonds with her people. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion, Sussy is your girl! She's playful, energetic, and athletic, always up for a hike, run, camping trip, or any outdoor activity. Sussy would thrive with an active family who loves to include their dog in their daily adventures. She's crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is a wonderful car rider, making her an easy companion for life's journeys. Sussy has waited long enough for a family to call her own. Ideal Home

Sussy would thrive in a home with families who enjoy outdoor activities and have a fenced backyard. An ideal home would also have experience with dog behavior and training, and possess high tolerance and patience for rescued pups, understanding their need for protection and education. Sussy is not house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Sussy has completed her spay/neuter surgery, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, and a heartworm test. She also has a health certificate and vaccine booklet.

Training & Support

Sussy is not house-trained and will need continued work in this area. She also benefits from a family with experience in dog behavior and training, who can provide consistent guidance and support.

• You will be asked to complete an online application.
• Following application review, a phone/email interview will be scheduled.
• A home check (virtual or in-person) will be conducted.
• A virtual meet and greet with Sussy and her foster family will be arranged.
• A trial adoption period may be offered.

Transportation

Sussy is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. She is available for transport to the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest if adopted. A transport fee of $400.00 will be paid by the adopter prior to departure.
