Duchess

Duchess is a 3-year-old, 18 lb sweetheart who was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico while pregnant. Once in our care, she gave birth to six puppies and devoted herself to raising her babies. Sadly, one puppy did not make it, but Duchess lovingly cared for her five surviving puppies until they were ready to begin their own journeys. Now it's Duchess's turn to find a family of her own. This sweet mama deserves a home where she can be loved, cared for, and finally enjoy being the one who is taken care of. She is a resilient, gentle girl with so much love to give and is ready to start the next chapter of her life with a forever family.
