Bella

Bella is a sweet female pit bull terrier mix who is an adult. For years, she knew what home felt like and had a routine, familiar faces, and a place where she belonged. Then, through circumstances no one could have planned for, she found herself in our care. The shelter has been especially hard on Bella. She's finding it difficult to adjust, and she urgently needs out. If you walk past her kennel, you'll see her barking and begging to be let out. But Bella is just tired of spending her days in a shelter kennel. Once she's out, her true self shines. She instantly relaxes and immediately approaches you for pets. Underneath her stress is a dog who just wants to be loved again, a dog who's happy with just a place to call her own and rest her head. Bella doesn't care if you're a family, a couple, or someone living on your own; she just wants someone to love.

Training & Support

Bella is crate trained, doesn't have accidents in the home, knows sit, down, and come, and will happily offer you her paw if she thinks you have a treat waiting. Fast movements can startle her, but she's just a sensitive senior trying to make sense of a world that changed overnight. We don't blame Bella for being overwhelmed. We just want her to know what home feels like again.
