Ellie

Ellie is a sweet 5-year-old, 55 lb lady who has overcome a lot in her life. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter after being hit by a car. After undergoing surgery, she has fully recovered and is ready to find her forever home. Ellie is very affectionate with people and can walk nicely in public without being reactive towards other dogs. While she has been around other dogs in her foster home, she would do best as the only dog in her new family. She can sometimes be dominant, though she is fine with smaller, submissive dogs. Ellie has had a rough start, but her loving spirit shines through, and she deserves a second chance at happiness.

Ideal Home

Ellie would thrive in a home where she can be the only dog. She is comfortable around people and can be taken out in public without issue.

Ongoing Health

Ellie underwent surgery after an injury and has fully recovered. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Ellie can be dominant in the home and would do best as the sole dog. She does not try to go after dogs she encounters, but her household dynamic is where this trait is most apparent.
